Crown Shaving is pretty much the gold standard in Canadian Men’s Grooming. Born out of a raw passion for barbering and a concern to get away from the harsh chemical. Every time I use one of Dino’s product I find myself enjoying how everything is just done right.
Persons of Interest is the “fragrance” passion project of Crown Shaving. My favorite cologne in this collection is Havana Conference with Tabac Noir very close behind, while Mrs. Style4men fell in love with CRYBABY.

Gueule de bois is a small artisan brand that has impressed me with top performing beard care products. The main inspiration of the brand if the fantasy world where beards are abundant and glorious.
The Beard Star is obviously focused on beard care. Rich scents, natural ingredients and a luscious beard is what you can expect.
DEMETER is the absolute fragrance library. I have been getting lost in their shop countless time and always came out with unexpected and amazing finds.

Henri et Victoria is a unique men’s grooming brand located in my home town of Gatineau. They produce everything a man would need to look and feel his best. To this day, they shaving soaps are my favorites. Incredible lather and an inventory of scents that will take you to the next level.
Hillside is a Canadian men’s grooming brand from Nova-Scotia. The core product offering is focused on hair care and styling. Think pomade, hair paste, hair creams, pre-styler, and sea salt spray. Hillside won me over with their “Crème Pomade” which is a creamy paste that doesn’t let down. And the signature scents are to die for. The brand is always expanding bringing exciting and healthy options.

This is a lovely Italian grocery store in the Ottawa Byward market. You will be able to find most if not all of the PRORASO product line, the Marvis toothpaste range and a number of other Italian brands.
The Modern Man is a UK shop I initially came across via eBay. Yep, you read right, the UK! Wait for it. Aside from the very competitive pricing, they also offer inexpensive or free shipping to Canada. There it is! The first time I ordered from them I was bedazzled by the speed of delivery. If memory serves me right it was some 4-5 business days. As anyone who might have ordered something from the US, you know you are generally in for a minimum of 2 weeks of waiting, if not more unless you remortgage the house for the premium delivery. The Royal Mail and Canada Post have an incredibly tight working relationship and being on the receiving end of that service is awesome. Further to this incredible shipping speed, The Modern Man also has an “EXCEPTIONAL” catalogue of men’s products. In fact, it might even be one of the better one I have had the luxury to come across. Having become aware of some of the British brands through the “BarberNV” magazine, I have also have been wanting to test these products out. Fudge, Dapper Dan, Morgan’s, Apothecary 87 to name but a few. All of which are available through the Modern Man. If you are looking for that original old-school pomade like Morgan’s or maybe a European shaving cream like LEA, you can find in their shop and more importantly, you can get it in a timely manner. To date I have ordered from them 3-4 times with a consistently spotless experience every time.
Lastly, we have a little store front on Amazon. This is always an easy stop for your shopping needs. Being a regular amazon shopper, I have obviously also bought many of my hair and shaving supplies through them with consistent satisfaction.
