BEARD REVIVAL WITH MILKMAN

Oud Noir is the new scent pallette by our Aussie friends @milkmanaustralia

I am trying out their 2 in 1 beard shampoo + conditioner and their beard oil.

Until now I had not encountered a beard wash that also doubled up as a conditioner. So from a novelty point-of-view, I’m interested. I don’t think you can get too much moisture in your beard, especially if you are rocking a long / big beard.

As a wash it did great. Beautiful foam, nice lather and that that amazing Oud Noir scent. Think oud, amber, wood with a slight touch a green. I find it sexy.

Then instead of leaving your beard squeaky clean it is in a much nicer refreshed and comfortable state.

In so many words, I think the guys at Milkman are applying the same principles as those for a quality hair shampoo by including moisturizing agent.

At this point I am adding the beard oil and you could almost argue that I don’t need it.

But I in fact need it as my beard is dry.

The beard oil is only using natures favorites: Grape seed, Safflower Seed, Coconut, Jojoba, Avocado, Sunflower, Argan and Hemp oil.

If you are in doubt, google “Benefit of XXX oil for skin and hair”. Yep! These oils are amazing.

As for the results, well, yes this is a top performing concoction. My beard was itch free all day. The oil was absorbed quickly leaving minimal residue.

I also like that this bottle is 50 ml versus the standard 30 ml.

This is a perfect set to get beard in game mode. A revival of sorts. And again, that Oud Noir fragrance! I am left fantasizing about one of the fragrance bottles.
