Sensual Elegance (Minus $150)

One of my most favorite destinations is the DEMETER Fragrance Library.   It’s like an amusement park for your nose that never disappoints.

AMBERGRIS is one of those highly coveted ingredients used to make some of the most expensive fragrances out there.  Think: Creed Irish Tweed, Jo Malone Dark Amber & Ginger Lily, Le Labo Another 13.

But our friends at DEMETER have you covered with an AMBERGRIS all of their own.  Yes, it might be synthetic, but who will know?

As per DEMETER:

Warm, earthy and spicy with vanilla undertone.

To my nose, it is sweet, buttery, warm, classy with a faint element of incent.   The mood is: sensual, sexy, desirable, elegant.  A perfect date night fragrance as everything about it calls for intimacy.  The visual: a fire place, a bear rug (synthetic of course) and my succulent better-half Mrs. Style4men.

Projection

I am applying this one a bit more generously than usual, because it is a more discreet fragrance.  As in, you have to get into that personal space.  Projection is limited.

Longevity

6 to 8 hours of delicious sensuality.

In short, if you have wanted to explore an Ambergris fragrance but couldn’t drop $100 +, then DEMETER is where you should head.  Once you enter this space, you might never look at a big house fragrance the same way.
